Brain Tumor Center:
Medulloblastoma

Advanced treatment, close to home

Medulloblastoma is a malignant primary brain tumor that originates in the cerebellum (bottom) or posterior cranial fossa (part of the brain containing the brainstem and cerebellum).

Originally considered to be a glioma, medulloblastoma is now known to be of the family of cranial primitive neuroectodermal tumors (PNET). All PNET tumors of the brain are invasive and fast-growing tumors that, unlike most brain tumors, spread through the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and frequently metastasize to different locations in the brain and spine.

Our comprehensive and multi-disciplinary programs provide superior, world-class medulloblastoma treatment .
