Nurse Practitioners

Chaomei Wu  (Mei Wu), NP

Ms. Wu is a certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Health.  She is licensed as a Registered Nurse, Clinical Laboratory Technologist as well as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Health in the state of New York.  She is BLS, ACLS, and PALS certified. 

Ms. Wu obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology from the State University of New York, Albany; her nursing degree from Albany Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, and her Masters degree as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Health from The Sages Colleges, Sage Graduate School.

After working many years as an Emergency Room & trauma nurse, she has a special compassion and is very sympathetic to the needs of the underserved. She is an active member of  the Nurse Practitioner Association in New York State.

Michelle Almaliah, NP

Michelle Almaliah is a certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelors in Nursing from Binghamton University and her Masters degree in Nursing from Hunter-Bellevue School Nursing.

As a registered nurse,  Mrs. Almaliah worked in the neuro-surgical ICU at New York University Hospital for seven years. Upon completion of her Masters degree she worked as Nurse practitioner for an Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon at Lenox Hill Hospital and as Neurosurgical Nurse Practitioner at New York University Hospital.

Mrs Almaliah has over twelve years experience in caring for brain and spine patients. Her strong knowledge base of neurosurgery enables her to deliver compassionate care.

Terri Booth, NP

Terri Booth obtained her Bachelors degree in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati and her Masters degree in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University.  She is board certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is ACLS and BLS certified.  She is licensed as a registered nurse and adult nurse practitioner in New York and Ohio.  She is a member of the Nurse Practitioner Association of New York State and The New York State Society of Physician Assistants.  She has a strong clinical background in critical care nursing and cardiology with her current focus being in neurosurgery, specifically spine.

Kerry McConie, RN, OCN

Kerry McConie is a registered nurse with a NYS Licensure, ACLS, BLS. Kerry McConie's degree is from Farmingdale State University.

 

 
Julia Trojanowski, RN

Julia Trojanowski is a registered nurse with a NYS licensure.  Julia Trojanowski's degree is from Nassau Community College. She is fluent in Ukrainian, Polish and Russian

 

 
Lisa Lotz, RN

Lisa Lotz is a registered nurse with a NYS licensure and certified in Basic Life Support.
Lisa's degree is from Nassau Community College.  She is currently furthering her education at LIU Post.

Nurse Technicians

Divina Verde, Nurse Technician

Divina Verde is a Nurse Technician who studied Nursing at the University of Ortanez, School of Nursing, Philippines. She is certified for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Intravenous Venipuncture. Ms. Verde has received a certificate from the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and a certificate from the Neuromodulation Spinal Cord Stimulation Workshop with the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCCCA).   Divina also received an Infection Control Certification for NYS Licensure in November 2014 from Infection Control Training Solutions.

Ms. Verde worked for years at the Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, NY, in the Step-Down Unit/ Orthopedic Department. She was Assistant Director of the Patient Recovery Committee at Beth Israel’s Kings Highway Division.  Later Ms. Verde worked in the surgical department of a pain management practice, assisting its doctors perform non-surgical techniques to treat spinal pain. Her extensive experience and compassion contribute to the effective treatment of the pain management patients.

Ms. Verde is a member of the New York State Pain Society (NYSPS) and the American Academy of Pain Management (AAPM).
