Neurosurgeon Robert N. Holtzman, M.D., along with neurologist Alan B. Ettinger, M.D., have been named to U.S. News & World Report’s 2011 “Best Doctors” list. The four specialists are attending physicians with NSPC Brain & Spine Surgery (NSPC), one of the Northeast’s leading practices of neurosurgeons and allied specialists.

“To have four physicians from a private practice named to this list is quite an honor,” said Michael H. Brisman, M.D., F.A.C.S., a senior partner at NSPC Brain & Spine Surgery (NSPC) “Their selection for ‘Best Doctors’ is further validation that our practice provides the most advanced university-level care in a community setting.”

The four NSPC physicians chosen for the list are leaders in their fields.

A leading neurosurgeon with extensive experience treating a variety of brain and spinal conditions, Dr. Holtzman has practiced at some of the nation’s top teaching hospitals and academic medical centers.
